My practice is a direct engagement with nature and natural materials. Through sculpture I explore humanities relationship with nature, and our attitudes to its romanticised aesthetic ideal. I work primarily with wood, using it as a visual metaphor to explore our relentless, sweaty consumerism and preconceived ideas of nature and beauty.
